An apparently intoxicated O.J. Simpson allegedly went on a rampage in a Las Vegas bar, getting himself tossed by security and permanently banned.

Hotel security arrived and a cooperative Simpson was removed from the premises with orders not to return. The disgraced gridiron great was reportedly pleasant to the guards.

He now resides in a gated community in Las Vegas.

Wowow. O.J. was only released from jail last month. Around midnight he was heard exchanging angry words with the hotel staff, and he then began breaking glasses, according to celebrity website TMZ.

LaVergne says Simpson was not given a reason for the ban. His lawyer, Malcolm LaVergne, told ABC News the Cosmopolitan issued a no trespassing notice to Simpson and he could face arrest if he returns to the hotel.

A witness, meanwhile, spotted Simpson inside the hotel shortly after midnight.

Laying low isn't really in Simpson's nature.

Simpson was released from a Nevada prison weeks ago, after serving nine years on charges that included kidnapping and armed robbery that came after an attempt in 2007 to take sports memorabilia from collectors at a different Las Vegas hotel-casino.

The former actor was acquitted of the double-murder of his ex-girlfriend Nicole Brown and her pal Ron Goldman in 1995.
