Tiffany's Is Finally Offering Breakfast at Tiffany's at the Blue Box Café

The store is the setting for Audrey Hepburn's classic 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's". But if she had only waited 56 years, she could've gone inside and ordered a cappuccino.

It's part of the luxury jewellery brand's renovation of its fourth floor, which also houses the new Homes & Accessories collection. Tiffany's is opening a luxurious cafe at their flagship store today called the Blue Box Cafe, so you can actually have breakfast at Tiffany's.

But unlike character Holly Golightly, shoppers can now dine within the shop. Breakfast will set you back $29, for coffee, croissant and your choice of avocado toast, truffle eggs, a smoked-salmon-and-bagel stack or buttermilk waffles.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is based on the Truman Capote novella about a country girl who moves to NY and joins high society. Lunch comes at a flat price of $39, which includes a starter and main course- serving up dishes like a ME lobster salad or chicken club sandwich. The restaurant will be decked out in Tiffany's signature blue.

Open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.
