Christopher Plummer to replace Kevin Spacey in completed J. Paul Getty biopic

Kevin Spacey will be cut from Ridley Scott's new film "All The Money In The World" - which has already been made.

The film is scheduled for a December 22 release, giving the film's producers less than two months to completely redo all of Spacey's scenes.

Ridley Scott's decision to remove Spacey from the movie has gone down well with film fans on Twitter...

The film is based on the real-life kidnapping of John Paul Getty III in 1973, and Spacey was to play Getty's frugal, asshole billionaire grandfather with extensive prosthetic makeup for the role.

Cases have been filed against his wife Pratibha Singh, son Vikramaditya and daughter Aparajita as well. The Gandhi scion alleged Prime Minister Modi believes in eating up the fruits of others' labour.

The 58-year-old actor recently faced allegations of sexual assault from Heather Unrah, who in a press conference claimed Spacey grabbed her 18-year-old son's genitals inside a bar on Nantucket Island.

According to reports, Christopher Plummer was originally the first choice for Spacey's role, playing John Paul Getty, but studio executives wanted a bigger name.

It is not clear how Scott will produce the Spacey-Plummer swap, but bringing back the actors for filming and finishing the movie on this razor-tight schedule is an enormous undertaking.

The film was slotted to be shown at AFI Fest in Los Angeles but was pulled Tuesday because of the accusations against Spacey, which continues to mount.

Not only was he recast in All the Money in the World, he was also fired from Netflix's House of Cards.

"All the Money In The World" is the latest project to distance itself from Spacey.
