Britney Spears Auctions Off Watercolor Painting For $10000 Benefitting Las Vegas Victims

Singer Britney Spears sold one of her paintings at the Vegas Cares auction, the proceeds of which will go towards a memorial art piece in honor of the victims of the October 1 Las Vegas shooting. Leach was both the auctioneer and winning bidder, as he seemingly couldn't resist owning a piece by Spears. "Great $10k moment #VegasCares @venetianvegas", the user captioned the photo.

Whilst one half of Twitter is seemingly celebrating the news, some have complained that they instead wanted an edit button. Until this week, only a select group of Twitter users were able to tweet past the 140 character count in a trial period.

The image - featuring flowers painted in predominately blue and purple hues - was part of a concert and auction at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, Vanity Fair reported. In the post to Instagram, shared October 13th, Spears can be seen in a cleavage-baring top partially covered by a paint-splattered painter's shirt.
