Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Star in the Puerto Rican Production of 'Hamilton'

The creator of the pop culture phenomenon "Hamilton" is bringing the musical to the hurricane-ravaged island for a three-week limited run in 2019, the Hollywood Reporter reported. Now "Hamilton", the hit musical about that life, is making its way to the Caribbean.

Born and raised in NY to Puerto Rican parents, Miranda spent much of his childhood visiting his grandparents on the island.

It's a dream come true for Miranda - who has deep familial roots to the island - to bring the wildly popular musical to the island, which suffered horrific damage in September from Hurricane Maria.

"In the aftermath of Maria we chose to expedite the announcement of the project to send a bold message that Puerto Rico will recover and be back in business, stronger than ever", he added.

Epic Game: Fortnite Has Passed 20 Million Players Milestone
Given the higher barrier for entry, PUBG amassing 20 million players is a much more impressive (and lucrative) accomplishment. The new Fortnite update was launched today by Epic Games and took a little while to be deployed.

"Hamilton" will run at the University of Puerto Rico's Teatro UPR, from January 8 to 27, where Miranda's other musical "In the Heights" played in 2010.

I have a year and a bit to remember the words.

During a press conference in Puerto Rico, the Broadway playwright and actor said in Spanish, "I'm going to continue speaking up and helping Puerto Rico".

Miranda also has rallied financial support for Puerto Rico.

The NTSB said it could take several weeks for investigators to determine what went wrong in Halladay's crash. Halladay won the Cy Young award twice and pitched a no-hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2010.

Agnes Crane, a spokeswoman for Pimco, didn't immediately respond to a phone message and email about whether the firm has been buying Puerto Rico general-obligation bonds. Built in 1939, the theater was severely damaged by Hurricane Maria, and will undergo restorations and repairs prior to Hamilton's 2019 bow. He also arrived on the island on Tuesday and announced a $2.5 million hurricane recovery fund, via a nonprofit group partnership.

Still, he said investors need to consider the risks posed by Puerto Rico's record-setting bankruptcy and the potential impact of the storm - and the federal government's response - on the island's economy, Hammer wrote.

Paul Tazewell just so happens to be the Tony Award-winning designer behind Hamilton.
