Forbes 400 List: 10 Richest People in America for 2017

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' estimated $81.5 billion fortune kept him right behind Gates for the second consecutive year.

As a candidate, Trump claimed his net worth was almost $9 billion (£6.8 billion), but Forbes says the actual figure is closer to $4 billion (£3.3 billion).

Trump has tweeted about the Forbes 400 list before, including once in 2014 when he retweeted and commented on a person's tweet that claimed that Forbes underestimates Trump's actual net worth.

Specifically, "a tough NY real estate market, particularly for retail locations; a costly lawsuit and an expensive presidential campaign". He was no. 156 previous year.

Shares Fall After Crown Resorts Accused of Poker-Machine Fixing
