Nearly half think media fabricate Trump reports

Even 20 percent of Democrats agree that the media makes up stories about Trump, however, most Democrats, 65 percent, disagree.

While President Trump's frequent claims of fake news are often mocked by the media, a recent Politico/Morning Consult poll shows that nearly half of USA voters, 46 percent, agree that the media literally makes up news stories about Trump and the Trump administration.

76 percent of Republicans think media makes up stories.

A large majority of Hillary Clinton voters do not, with 16 percent saying they believed the fabrication claim and another 71 percent saying not-so-much.

Forty-four percent of independent voters think the media fabricates stories about Trump, while 31 percent think they do not.
