LEGO Women of NASA set release date and pricing info

LEGO Women of NASA set release date and pricing info

Based on a suggestion from a fan, the set features Ride, astronaut Mae Jemison (the first African-American woman in space), astronomer Nancy Grace Roman, and computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, as well as accessories that showcase their contributions throughout five decades of the US space agency's history.

We're thrilled to reveal the next #LEGOIdeas set 21312 Women of NASA by Maia Weinstock!

"Build your own telescope" with Astronomer Nancy Grace Roman, who was best known for her work on the Hubble Space Telescope.

(TWX) Given Hold Rating at KeyCorp
On September 19 the company was rated "Neutral" according to a Credit Suisse report down from the previous "Outperform" rating. Winslow Asset stated it has 1.15 million shares or 0.7% of all its holdings. 12 funds opened positions while 20 raised stakes.

Also included in the set is a 4-inch-tall model of the Challenger space shuttle Ride rode when she became the first woman in space.

"Women have played critical roles throughout the history of the US space program".

The toy set follows up on a suggestion from science writer Maia Weinstock, but one of Weinstock's nominees wasn't included: NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson, whose life story figures prominently in the Oscar-nominated movie "Hidden Figures" and the book on which it was based.

Polestar Targeting Tesla With Next Two Products
The company expects to construct a maximum of 500 Polestar 1s a year in Chengdu, but to scale-up for future all-electric models. Polestar will offer its sport coupe through a car-subscriptions service, saying it will not operate any traditional dealerships.

The company quickly took steps to add more women in science to its set lineup. The final designs were done by Lego designers Tara Wike and Gemma Anderson.

Hopefully this set will be the beginning of more STEM-inspired LEGO sets that celebrate the advancement of women. Weinstock's original proposal from July 2016 collected more than 10,000 votes in a Lego ideas contest. The astronauts - Jemison, who went into space in 1992, and Ride in 1983 - will each come with space shuttles with removable rocket boosters and orange fuel tanks modeled after the real thing. However, Lego said Johnson chose not to participate. "With this project, I wanted to spotlight a fantastic group of women who have made seminal contributions to NASA history".

Lego is releasing another women of science building set, this one to be released November 1.

Cher joins 'Mamma Mia' sequel
