High School Investigates Video of Students Yelling Racial Slurs

High School Investigates Video of Students Yelling Racial Slurs

The video was apparently filmed past year over fall break in a vehicle that was not on school property or participating in a high school activity, Findlay said.

KUTV reports that school officials will take "appropriate disciplinary action.if the students involved are found to have violated the school's code of conduct".

School officials say that the video had been manipulated by an app which plays speech backwards when they filmed it.

The Instagram video, captioned "serggin cuff", quickly went viral after it landed on Twitter from an outraged friend who came across the recording.

After interviewing the students, Findlay said the group was "playing around saying gibberish words" and then tried the random phrase, which produced the racial slur.

IPhone 8 sales slower than iPhone 7 so far this fall
It appears users are willing to forgo wireless charging and a much-improved camera to purchase the iPhone 7 at a discounted price. Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will only be able to ship 30 to 35 million iPhone X by the end of the year.

"From the information that was gathered, we believe the video was filmed one year ago while the students were on Fall break", says a statement released by district spokesman Lane Findlay.

Staff at the school are investigating the video which they said there was "no excuse" for. District officials are probing the circumstances - including who shot the footage, where and why, and how it ended up on social media.

School district officials disciplined a group of six white students at a Maryland high school last week after a photo showed the students wearing shirts that spelled out "n-ger".

The clip was initially posted on Instagram and shows the girls riding in a vehicle shouting, "f*** n***ers" into the camera while smiling and giggling. "They did it, and they posted it", she said. They represent "school spirit" as cheerleaders and have totally ostracized an entire demographic of students by posting this racist video to social media'.

Gord Downie remembered for contributions to Indigenous reconciliation
That stuff doesn't interest me and I don't even know if I could write that if I tried because I don't really feel it. Downie's final solo album "Introduce Yerself" is scheduled to be released posthumously on October 27.

Jeanetta Williams, president of NAACP's tri-state conference area of Idaho-Utah-Nevada, called the video appalling.

"It just can't happen", the school district spokesman said, Deseret News reported.

Findlay said that girls could face anything from counseling and being kicked off the cheerleading team to expulsion from school. However the video was made, it is completely inappropriate'.

The girls have been slammed as "disgusting" by social media users who said they "knew what they were doing". "Racism, whether intentional or not, has no place in our schools or society".

Joel Embiid: Minutes Restriction is 'F*cking Bullsh
Most fans would love to see the Sixers remove the training wheels and unleash Embiid in full force on the rest of the league. Why not give him a monthly, or even weekly total of minutes to be limited to? "I wish I was playing more minutes".
