Microsoft Edge is finally coming to iOS and Android

The Microsoft Edge browser brings all the major features like your Favorites, Reading List, New Tab Page and Reading View across your PC and phone. Instead, it appears to build on the existing Arrow launcher, albeit with more than a few upgrades.

Microsoft Launcher is part of the company's work to offer "seamless" switching between Windows 10 PCs and mobile devices.

You can get access to the preview version of the launcher here. If you want to try Microsoft Edge on Android before the Launch. Pressing on the new tab icon will show you a plus icon for a new tab, a preview of everything you now have open, along with options to close all or switch to InPrivate mode.

Recently, Microsoft's senior program manager Brandon LeBlanc, replied to a frustrated user claiming it continues to "exist", but major updates are surely a thing of the past.

Oh, and, the address bar is situated on the top of the browser which will be a bit annoying if you are used the address bar being at the bottom on Windows 10 Mobile.

That said, Microsoft is providing a unique User Agent string for each browser for those developers that wish to know exactly which browser is running.

Microsoft hopes bringing Edge to the world's two leading smartphone ecosystems will increase the browser's lowly market share.

The app is available in beta for iPhone and Android phones.

Today, Microsoft announced Edge web browser for Android and iOS devices, along with the newly updated Microsoft Launcher for Android. Microsoft Launcher, which is based on Fluent design, allows you to further customize what you see.

Meanwhile, the Microsoft Launcher is already up in Google Play for USA users. Microsoft is, however, still committed to the EdgeHTML but due to several complexities, the decision to use the native web platform makes sense.
