Video Captures 11-Year-Old's Joy After Learning Her Adoption Is Final

A school administrator in Utah last Monday posted the video of an 11-year-old girl celebrating after learning she was being adopted by her foster parents.

Ms Fisher and her husband will adopt Tannah after fostering her for two years.

Tannah's friend Miss Jackie Alexander, an office manager at Tannah's school, called her to the office to give her the news she had waited years for. 'My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming'. Her overjoyed reaction was captured on surveillance video and has now gone viral. "She knew she would want to know right away because she had been so anxious", Jackie said.

Tannah, 11, along with her brother Teagun, 6, and sister Tallie, 2, will be part of their own "forever family" later this fall. To tell a little girl she gets her family forever takes the cake.

"I grabbed her shoulders and said, have you heard the news baby?"

Jackie Alexander said the moment made her day. "There's joy that happens every day", Alexander said. "We did the right thing". "And just being together and I know that... like having someone to actually love me".
