Snapchat introduces 'context cards,' to help users book cab, meals

According to a Fortune report, the slick new update will be made available through a pop-up display seen within the app's Geofilters, which are publicly shared in the "Our Story" feed. For instance, if your friend sends you a Snap from a restaurant, you can swipe up to see a Context Card that houses its location, user reviews, and contact information. It will also factor in more personalized features, like which ride-haling app you use (if you don't have Uber installed, Snapchat will show links to Lyft). If another friend posts a Story from Thailand and you're feeling like you've missed out, TripAdvisor will let you book directly from Snapchat. Instead of making a mental note of the café's name and Googling it, you can now simply swipe up to see helpful information, like reviews from TripAdvisor and Foursquare, a phone number, hours, the menu, and more-right inside Snapchat.

For a peek at how Context Cards work, check out the video below.

Taylor Swift to release her own app
I'd be more alarmed at the appearance of such a self-centered app if we weren't already living in the year 2017. Taylor is launching an app, and we can't wait to get out hands on it.

The feature has been rolled out in the U.S., the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on both Android and iOS. The snap - assuming Really Good Soup Dumpling Restaurant has a Context Card - will say "MORE" at the bottom. No Googling. Just more time spent using Snapchat to do the same things you'd likely have done anyway.

The Context Cards also has the information neatly arranged in different cards with each card showing related information.

Tom Brady Misses Practice Due To Shoulder Injury
Aside from fielding questions about his health, Brady also raved about the season wide receiver Danny Amendola is having. The good news is that the injury is in his left shoulder - not his throwing shoulder.

The app is used by 170 million people eveyrday. Its users post more than 3bn "snaps" every day, giving Snap plenty of data on which to train computer-vision algorithms that could one day automatically provide context for all kinds of products and services that are shown in an image. This was particularly evident in recent weeks as onlookers watched hurricanes and the shooting in Las Vegas unfold in near real-time via Snapchat.

Overwatch's Halloween Event Is Now Live With New Seasonal Items
The Summer Games 2017 event didn't change all too much from previous year , with very small minor changes to the gameplay format. Some Overwatch fans will remember the Junkenstein's Revenge promotion that was launched a year ago .
