Perera the star as Sri Lanka sweep Pakistan in Dubai

Pakistan's record of never having lost a test cricket series in the United Arab Emirates ended on Tuesday (Wednesday NZ Time) when Sri Lanka won the second match by 68 runs and swept the series.

The ongoing second Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka here witnessed a freaky incident when the hosts' pacer Wahab Riaz missed his run-up five consecutive times, which made coach Mickey Arthur furious, who walked back to the dressing room.

Instead he was gone, and with it, Pakistan's hopes of a series-levelling win: they lost their last four wickets for just 23 runs, and with it went Pakistan's unbeaten, decade-long home streak.

Chasing 317 to win, Asad Shafiq scored a valiant 112 before Pakistan was bowled out for 248 inside the first session on day five. Courtesy of their win, Sri Lanka whitewashed Pakistan 2-0 in the UAE after being whitewashed by India at home across all three formats. They had crashed to a 3-0 defeat to India at home in a Test series before this.

Trump suggests United States change tax law to punish National Football League for 'disrespecting' country
In a statement , Pence said he would not "dignify" an event that disrespected the military or United States flag. Trump said in a tweet later on Sunday evening that he had asked Pence to walk out if more protests occurred.

Asked if Pakistan took Sri Lanka lightly ahead of the Test series, Sarfraz told, "No, not at all".

Captain Ahmed said poor batting was the main reason for the series defeat.

"We have seven overs to the second new ball so we have to cash in on them and hope that Asad and Sarfraz see us through". "Captaincy is very different in Tests - it changes session by session".

First he dismissed Haris Sohail for 10, before taking the wicket of opener Shan Masood (21) and then Mohammad Azam for a duck, two balls later.

Trump suggests he'd beat Rex Tillerson in an IQ test
In the interview with Forbes , Trump also said that numerous unfilled positions within the State Department would remain empty. Last week Mr Tillerson called a news conference to deny reports that he was considering quitting.

Shafiq was the only Pakistan batsman to score a century in the series, Sarfraz's first as Test captain since Misbah-ul Haq retired earlier this year. But his absence in the five-match ODI and three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka will be felt. Opener Dimuth Karunaratne scored 196 and on the back of fifties from Dinesh Chandimal, Niroshan Dickwella and Dilruwan Perera, Sri Lanka posted 482.

"The boys executed the game plan really well in this series".

They even prevented Rangana Herath from adding to his 400 career wickets in this innings.

Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 68 runs in the second Test played between the two sides in th UAE. They hit the right areas and took wickets at just the right time. "You could say we've played and won with two spinners here before, but at the moment, we felt our fast bowling was more experienced".
