Mattis Urges US Army to 'Be Ready' with N. Korea Military Options

General James Mattis, US secretary of defence, also spoke at the event, telling the US Army to "stand ready" for war with North Korea. "Neither you nor I can say", Mattis said. Mattis said. "The global community has spoken, but that means the US Army stands ready".

U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said, regarding North Korea's nuclear and missile programs, there are "no good, easy.?.?. risk-free options" and that no one should "underestimate" the situation.
