Kaepernick suggests report he would stand during anthem is a lie

Kaepernick suggests report he would stand during anthem is a lie

Kaepernick's girlfriend, Nessa Diab, posted her own message, which read: "The reports that Colin will stand for the anthem are completely false".

Kaepernick has remained un-signed since last season, leading many to believe his controversial national-anthem protest, which has since been carried out throughout the NFL, has led teams to stay away from signing him.

Once a quarterback that led the 49ers to an NFC title and a Super Bowl XLVII berth, Kaepernick was benched in 2016 for Blaine Gabbert after accruing a 1-10 record and 55.2 QBR under center. Moreover, he has said all proceeds from his jersey sales would be donated to charity.

Cam Newton wears feminist hat pin on Panthers' team flight
The Panthers made a point of tweeting an image of Newton boarding the team flight, with the hat pin clearly visible. He was wearing a hat pin showing the working women from the World War II "We Can Do It" posters.

For his part, Kaepernick tweeted a quote from Winston Churchill, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its trousers on".

Earlier this afternoon, reporter Jason La Canfora appeared on CBS to deliver some news related to free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick. "He's not planning on kneeling", La Canfora told Brown.

However, after reports exploded quoting the CBS account, La Canfora took to Twitter to reveal that he had not spoken to Kaepernick about the question. La Canfora's original story was referenced by a few outlets, including the Associated Press (AP), who later issued a correction.

Las Vegas police officers describe storming gunman's room
When asked if he had an accomplice, Mr Lombardo said he had the "assumption that he had to have some help at some point". In addition to killing 58 people in his attack, Paddock injured at least 489 others before taking his own life.

Kaepernick said at the time that he was protesting the treatment of black Americans, particularly by the police. Donald Trump has attacked the players and called on the National Football League to fire them.

Furthermore, Kaepernick tweeted a series of tweets questioning the CBS report. But ESPN reported in March that Kaepernick would stand during the national anthem this season, citing unnamed sources.

The president told the crowd at the rally on September 22 that teams should fire players who kneel during the anthem.

Apart from the 10-15 mins when Colombia looked in control of the match, it was Ghana all over the pitch. That goal took his personal tally for the U.S. team to 19 goals in 30 appearances since 2015.
