Jemel Hill Twitter: ESPN Suspends Co-Host After Latest Tweets

The day prior, Hill had tweeted about boycotting Dallas Cowboys advertisers in response to owner Jerry Jones' threat to bench players who kneel during the national anthem. Barrie was scheduled to host the show from 7 9 p.m.

Trump has for weeks criticized players and teams for their protest, which he has claimed disrespects the American flag and anthem.

Although ESPN's subscriber base is declining, "tanked" isn't exactly an accurate assessment - the decline began six years ago after the network hit a high with 100 million subscribers in 2011.

Russian Su-24 jet crashes at air base in Syria, crew dies
Initial reports said that the chopper was shot down, but the Defence Ministry subsequently denied those reports. The latest casualties put the toll of Russian servicemen officially reported as killed in Syria at 37.

Hill's comments had followed new rules made by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who said any player who disrespects the flag will not play.

However, her latest comments drew a suspension from the network, which issued a statement saying Hill was in breach of social media guidelines.

NY radio hosts Charlamagne Tha God and Ebro Darden have put their station rivalry to the side to and weighed-in on the controversial suspension of ESPN personality Jemele Hill. On Tuesday morning, Trump mocked both Hill and ESPN, which has been under fire from conservatives for its alleged liberal leanings.

Initially reported at 25 acres, the fire quickly exploded in size-so quickly that officials could not estimate its size by midday. CHP officials were working at day's end to open all but the right lane on the eastbound Riverside Freeway, Olivera said.

He noted how Hill tweeted out the advertisers for the Cowboys and that many are also ESPN advertisers in this "rabbit hole of absurdity".

President Trump then turned his attention to ESPN host Jemele Hall, who was suspended from the network Monday for more controversial tweets. Hill, a prolific tweeter, avoided an outright apology, but said she regretted she "painted ESPN in an unfair light". "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear". Hill referred to Trump as "unqualified and unfit to be President" and "a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself with other white supremacists". On Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence attended an Indianapolis Colts game, but left after "The Star-Spangled Banner" when players from the San Francisco 49ers knelt during the anthem.

Trump says it's "no wonder" ESPN's ratings have tanked with Hill "at the mike".

McDonald's responded and said their "super limited batch, though well-intended, clearly wasn't near enough to meet the demand". Stores quickly ran out of their sauce supply - causing mini riots and an outpouring of complaints across social media.
