Nigerian youth accused of theft brutally beaten by mob in Delhi

In yet another incident of mob justice, a Nigerian National was brutally beaten up by a group of unknown people in New Delhi's Malviya Nagar on Monday.

In the video, the Nigerian man can be seen tied to a lamp pole and beaten by sticks.

Reports further said that the police rescued the youth from the locals but later registered a case of theft against him on the insistence of local residents. The DCP has also ruled out any possibility of racial attack, talking to media persons he clarified that the Nigerian national was beaten up on suspicion of theft.
