Jammu: Security forces nabbed two terrorists responsible for Wednesday's attack outside a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp in Jammu and Kashmir.

The police officer said timely action by police and security forces led to the arrest of the two alleged militants and neutralised a terror module at Banihal.

He said they also recovered an INSAS and AR 41 rifle and 100 rounds of each rifles from the arrested militants.

The police officer said they are continuing the manhunt to track down the third youth (Aqib) involved in the attack.

The duo, along with Aquib Wahid, son of Abdul Wahid, resident Kaskote were involved in the heinous crime wherein an SSB personnel was martyred and another critically injured.

He said that both of them belong to Banihal and were radicalised and motivated during their education days. "The arrest is a significant blow to the nefarious designs of anti-national elements who promote and support terrorism in an otherwise peaceful Chenab valley in the state of J&K", he added. A case has been registered and investigation started, the police said.
