Strange, who was appointed to the Senate after Sessions resigned earlier this year, advanced to the September 26 runoff after finishing second by 25,000 votes to Moore.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is launching an advertising push on behalf of Luther Strange in Alabama's heated U.S. Senate runoff.

In his announcement Saturday, Brooks called the race "an epic battle between the people of Alabama who put America first, and the Washington Swamp", adding that he had already cast an absentee ballot for his chosen candidate.
