Birmingham sack Harry Redknapp after six straight defeats

Two victories towards the tail end of the season saw Birmingham finish two points above the relegation zone and Redknapp was soon offered a one-year deal to stay on at St Andrews.

Although after making 14 signings over the summer, including signing Jota from Brentford for a club record fee, some are wondering whether firing Redknapp was the smartest decision.

But a torrid start to this campaign has seen them win just two of their 10 games in all competitions and the club's board made their move in the wake of a 3-1 home defeat to Preston.

Presumably leading to Green's frustration, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has struggled mightily out of the gate this season. The Bengals have lost the first two games of its young season, including its home opener, 20-0, against the Baltimore Ravens.
