Latest update on Hurricane Jose

Jose's maximum sustained winds are 75 miles per hour, which barely register it as a hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

Hurricane Jose, sitting out in the Atlantic on Wednesday, is expected to make a slow clockwise rotation over the next 36 to 48 hours that could bring it closer to the United States and the Bahamas. However, the system will still continue to maintain Hurricane Jose in the waters of the Atlantic. However, Jose chose to change paths and spared the Caribbean and is now hurling in the Atlantic.

He added, "That's the magic of Target , and we can't wait for our guests to enjoy this collection for years to come". We want to create spaces that families want to gather in", Joanna said in a statement.

A change in overnight computer models has once again given uncertainly about Hurricane Jose. In fact, I probably won't be confident on Jose's track until Friday or maybe even the weekend.

On the forecast track, the center of Jose will remain well to the east-northeast of the Bahamas through Wednesday. If it moves further east, impacts will be more indirect than anything else. The storm will turn northeast after it's loop with some uncertainty with how close it may end up near the northeastern U.S. Folks in the Mid-Atlantic and New England region should closely monitor the progress of Jose.

The hurricane center said these swells could spread northward along the Mid-Atlantic coast during the next few days, however, and is likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. Only three days earlier, Antigua and Barbuda had been devastated by a peak-strength Category 5 Irma, packing 185-mph winds.

Tropical storm-force winds from Jose spread over the islands on Saturday.
