Florida officers to make calendar for hurricane relief after selfie goes viral

The comments under this image of police officers helping out after Hurricane Irma show the storm has done nothing to suppress women's appetite for a man in uniform. As if the frenzy was not enough, Gainesville Police Department posted a photo of more officers - which has now gone viral. That simple post has led to an all-out infatuation over the male officers.

"I can't believe how many women are objectifying these poor, fine, young, strong, handsome, brave, sexy, delicious, virile, ovulation-inducing, mouth-watering, beefy". Proceeds will go toward disaster relief, the department said.

"This pic is exactly why your grandmother always told you to wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident".

The selfie, which has drawn almost 170,000 comments and more than 100,000 shares, reportedly made the chief of the department "blush". The department also posted photos of some more officers that have also been flooded with squeal-laden comments.

The update also specified that while "MRS. Nordman and MRS. Hamill have also enjoyed knowing how millions of women are going insane over their husbands", Officer Rengering (the one "with the fantastic hair") is available.

The department playfully announced that Officer Rengering has been "placed into Cougar Prey Protective Care, similar to the witness protection program for his safety". The post has been shared over 110,000 times with over 70,000 comments on the post.

The department is asking people not call 9-1-1 and request the three "hot cops" be the ones to respond to an incident. They also say there will be a calendar.
