Apple Watch Series 3 launched with LTE, GPS and more

The Apple Watch Series 3 has the potential to extend recent sales gains by boosting the device's functionality, analysts said. To date, Apple hasn't disclosed sales of the Watch, which was its first all-new product released under Chief Executive Tim Cook, and some detractors have said sales were stymied because the initial version lacked objective.

The new Apple Watches will launch with watchOS 4, the latest software, which includes new health tracking functions, Siri recommendations, new watch faces and more.

The new Apple Watch Series 3 will have a cellular antenna that will let users make calls, browse apps, and listen to music from their wrist - without having their iPhone nearby, the company announced Tuesday. The SIM card is not inserted in the watch, but to make calls you can use them.

Apple said it is also making enhancements to the heart rate app, and will display heart rate data on the watch's face. Powered by the Apple W2 chip, the Watch Series 3 includes faster Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes in new Gold color and new Nike models and bands for the new watch.

Asked by Cope whether he was aware of the Barcelona offer, Asensio replied : "I know there were some clubs interested but. yeah. We all thought it was odd that Barcelona could not keep him but he is a great player and will be fantastic for them".

Tim Cook has announced the new Apple Watch series 3 starting from $329 for the regular version whereas the cellular version will retail at $399. Apple will also reveal the iPhone X preorder date, which should end up being September 15, and the iPhone X launch date should be September 22. It also features much more extensive heart care. And if the watch detects a high heart rate and youre not moving, it can sound an alarm. Apple's pushing the audio-based communication that makes sense for a watch - it's far easier than trying to type on a watch face - and making use of its Ear Pods, which were so controversial previous year.

Arrhythmia, as an irregular heart beat is known, is common in older people and can be a sign of heart disease or even a heart attack, as well as a cause of strokes, according to the American Heart Association. An LTE-enabled watch, especially one that is supported on all four major carriers, would go a long way toward turning Apple Watch from an accessory into a must-have gadget.

The Apple Watch Series 3 is capable of acting as a standalone smartphone. It has the same size as the Watch Series 2 and comes in three colour variants - Gold/Aluminium finish, Silver and Space Grey.

There is a gray ceramic version of the watch as well which will be more likely expensive than a standard Apple Watch but is not confirmed if this will be sold alongside the white edition or replace it.
