Blade Runner 2049 TV spot reveals plenty of gorgeous new footage

Sony have just released the latest new footage from upcoming film Blade Runner 2049 - and it still looks pretty damn bleak.

The new TV spot delves a little into what that secret may be, and why K is forced to seek out Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), the former blade runner who's been missing all these thirty years.

Sony Pictures UK has dropped a brand-new global TV trailer for Blade Runner 2049 online. K tracks down Harrison Ford's Rick Deckard, while dodging knife jabs from Wallace's righthand woman.

Some of that income, according to the Treasury Department, was used to finance the country's ballistic missile testing. The sanctions also hit two companies that arranged for North Korean laborers to build statues in foreign countries.

The latest worldwide spot shines a light on Niander Wallace, the villain played by Jared Leto.

In this new global spot, we once again hear from Leto's soft-spoken, creepy Niander Wallace about how "humanity can not survive" and "replicants are the future of the species".

Arrival's Denis Villeneuve is directing the movie, with original Blade Runner director Ridley Scott serving as executive producer.

Gogol Centre theatre director Kirill Serebrennikov arrested in fraud investigation

The cast also includes Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.

Blade Runner 2049 hits cinemas across the United Kingdom on October 6, 2017. Aside from getting some answers about the existing questions that cloud this franchise (like, if Deckard is a replicant or not), fans can also expect Blade Runner 2049 to plant some seeds for the future and leave the door open to a potential third Blade Runner film, down the line.
