Trump thanks ousted White House chief strategist Bannon for his services

Earlier this week, President Trump was non-committal about Bannon's future.

In interviews following his departure, Bannon - using the same bellicose language that became the hallmark of Breitbart News under his watch - said he looked forward to taking on those he feels are standing in Trump's way. It'll be something else. "And there'll be all kinds of fights, and there'll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over", said Bannon, who is generally perceived as the driving force behind Trump's "nationalist" ideology.

The removal of the former Breitbart editor as Trump's chief strategist marks a remarkable rise and fall for a rightwing ideologue regarded by some as the power behind the throne.

Coulter provided Trump with a piece of advice: instead of ousting people like Bannon, he needs to bring in more advisors who are like controversial advisor.

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte could not hold back the laughter after Diego Costa accused the Blues of treating him like a "criminal".

But Bannon repeatedly clashed with other top White House advisers and often ran afoul of the president himself. We mean, it's not like Bannon was going to go work for Kamala Harris.

In addition, under Kelly's tenure, Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un traded barbs and threats, and the president launched scathing attacks on prominent Republicans, especially Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "We are grateful for his service and wish him the best", Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.

Bannon has returned to his role as executive chairman to Breitbart News, a position he held before joining Trump's campaign.

Raheem Kassam, bureau chief for Breitbart London, told Fox News Channel a little while ago that there is no animosity between President Trump and Bannon.

It is a distinction that I think eludes the president, and perhaps many other Americans as well. "What about Thomas Jefferson?" Trump said while he condemned the neo-Nazi elements of the protest, some protesters were there for acceptable purposes.

Referring to Breitbart as a weapon, Bannon told the Weekly Standard he's ready to play up his moniker and "crush the opposition".

The administration has also seen former National Security Director Michael Flynn depart in January, and Anthony Scaramucci, White House Communications Director, sacked in late July.

Utterances of Bannon's imminent ouster swirled around Washington for weeks before Friday, with aides in the White House suggesting Bannon's toxic rapport with McMaster and Cohn was leading to his imminent dismissal.

"I said, 'look, I'll focus on going after the establishment", Bannon said.

The groups are supposed to meet occasionally to offer the president advice on job growth. Within an hour after the statement was first issued, Trump tweeted his response.

Bannon said he resigned voluntarily.
