Tom Cruise's broken ankle halts Mission Impossible 6 filming

In his previous appearance on "The Graham Norton Show", Tom Cruise revealed that he had been training for a couple of years to prepare for his comeback as Ethan Hunt of the "Mission: Impossible" series.

"Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can't wait to share the film with everyone next summer".

In the video, you could see the actor attempting to jump from the top of one building to another, however, missing the landing and hitting the side of the building with intense force.

"Mission: Impossible 6" director Christopher McQuarrie told Britain's Empire magazine in an interview posted on Wednesday that the production schedule would be rearranged to shoot around Cruise while he recovers.

It's claimed the star suffered a broken foot or ankle when he slammed into a wall after mistiming a building jump stunt, which was captured on camera by a WENN photographer. He is the film's biggest star and everything revolves around him.

"And on the fourth try, he hit the building at a slightly different angle and he broke his ankle. You can see it on his face".
