Visiting a theme park's roller coasters is already a major adrenaline rush, but doing so for National Roller Coaster Day on August 16 makes it even more enjoyable. The coaster's figure-eight layout will create "a fast-paced journey" with multiple airtime hills, twists and dives, overbanked turns and surprise maneuvers.

None, however, is generating quite as much excitement as the conversion of Mean Streak, Cedar Point's massive wood coaster that debuted in 1991.
