Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Hosts Indian National Flag At Australia's IIFM

The festival was officially opened in the presence of festival director Mitu Bhowmick by special guests: Konkana Sen Sharma and Alankrita Srivastava who lit the ceremonial lamp.

Little Aaradhya stood with patience as her mother gave a speech and exchanged pleasantries.

The high point of the event was of course watching Prabhas-Rana Daggubatti's, Baahubali 2 and Aamir Khan's Dangal that won back to back awards. "I'm so honoured. Aishwarya was deeply honoured and humbled to receive the award.

Karan Johar was awarded the Leadership in Cinema Award at this prestigious festival and he presented the IFFM Diversity Award to Garth Davis, director of the Academy nominated film LION. "It's awesome how as directors we get to build people, break them emotionally, cheer them and make them feel happy".
