Joey Barton Launches Scathing Attack On Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has admitted defeat in Liverpool's continued Philippe Coutinho Barcelona transfer saga.

Barca, who sold Neymar to Paris St Germain last week for a world-record £200.6m, made their offer on Wednesday having already had a £72m bid for Coutinho turned down in July.

Liverpool's players sympathise with Philippe Coutinho for wanting to join Barcelona, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

Asked about Coutinho's transfer request, which was emailed to Michael Edwards, Liverpool's sporting director, Klopp said: "I didn't get it but I can say something that is maybe more important". Then I have to accept it. "I am responsible for the whole team, all these players and I need to focus on the players who are available".

Among the white supremacists at Saturday's rally were alt-right leader Richard Spencer and former Ku Klux Klan member David Duke. The male driver has been taken into custody and police were treating the incident as a "criminal homicide", he said.

"The only thing I can say about this is that in life everything is about timing - whichever club asks early enough". That is what I was always doing.

"He is on the bench because we work the last five or six weeks to prepare for this match".

Speaking on BT Sport's Premier League Tonight show, Gerrard implored the 25-year-old to stay, likening the situation to that Luis Suarez found himself in in 2013. "The second half was a lot better but we forgot to close the game".

"I don't think (it changes anything)".

Ben Davies, Dele Alli star in Tottenham's win against Newcastle
Jacob Murphy and Mikel Merino are named among the substitutes on the bench, but could make their debuts for Newcastle . We have a massive city behind the club. "We have an idea how to attack and how to defend, but football is football".

"Then we scored two wonderful goals in the second half, it was really good; we had our moments and then we conceded an offside goal". I don't make the decision.

A win for Liverpool in their Premier League debut would be a much-needed confidence booster and help settle the starting line-up ahead of the upcoming (and crucial) Champions League clash against Hoffenheim on Tuesday.

But a short while after that statement was published, Coutinho submitted a formal transfer request to the club. I didn't see the club today - those people.

A new season should have brought a blank slate for Liverpool's set-piece defending.

FSG is pretty firm on not selling Coutinho, but if a bid of over £100 million is received, it might be better for the Reds to cash in on the money and sign Insigne as a replacement instead of keeping an unhappy player.
