Watching the Dallas Cowboys second preseason matchup of the year, this time against the Los Angeles Rams, it's understandable if you came away with a sour feeling.

The team finished with a 4-12 record and had the worst offense in the league.

It's been a year since quarterback Dak Prescott made his professional National Football League debut against the LA Rams in the preseason. The Rams traded a second-round pick and cornerback E.J. Gaines to Buffalo for the playmaking wideout.

The Rams punted after Goff's first three plays, but Josh Forrest recovered the Cowboys' muffed return.

Arsenal dealt Sanchez injury blow
They finished on fifth position in the league last season but won the FA Cup after beating Chelsea 2-1 in the final. Wenger has insisted several times that Sanchez will not be sold, although links with Manchester City continue.

Kupp and Reynolds are competing with receivers like Woods and Tavon Austin. Reynolds and Austin have been dealing with injuries and are both likely out.

This is also good news for Dez Bryant who will now be required to be more of the leader on offense and produce to keep the Cowboys ahead of their opponents. This game will give fans a sneak peek at how well the Rams are transitioning to Philips' scheme.

Although they've yet to convert and cash in on many opportunities, that the defense is already generating so many chances this early in the preseason certainly bodes well. "He is only going to get better from it".

Prescott hasn't played in a game since the Cowboys were eliminated from last year's postseason. "We feel that we've built our team the right way and we have some veteran experience, guys who have been productive in this league, at the running back position in Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden".

Death toll reaches 49 with 17 more missing in floods, landslides
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast moderate to heavy rains to continue across the country for the next few days. The Red Cross said in a statement the death toll had reached at least 53, with dozens more missing and injured.

The NFL suspended star Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott for six games Friday, concluding after a yearlong investigation that the league's leading rusher injured his former girlfriend in three separate incidents last summer.

Elliott didn't play against Los Angeles Rams Saturday night and Garrett has not determined if he will play in the preseason, though Stephen Jones indicated he might play against the Indianapolis Colts Aug. 19.

BIG HIT: Dallas rookie Taco Charlton got his first sack, downing Mannion in the first quarter. They should get another shot to earn playing time Saturday night.

The Miami Dolphins quarterback will undergo an operation to fix the torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the entire season, a person familiar with the decision said Friday. So for the fantasy player that wants him, you will have to buy high on McFadden to be sure you handcuff the Dallas run game. That, coupled with traveling, makes this a tough game.

Chelsea's concerns mount with surprise loss to Burnley
And boss Conte, who is set to fine bad-boy Diego Costa £300,000 for going AWOL, blasted: "We just lost our heads". Southampton were held to a goalless draw by Swansea at St Mary's Stadium, as West Brom beat Bournemouth 1-nil.
