The party took the decision today at its ongoing non-elective national convention in the nation's capital Abuja.

The decision is part of the party's efforts to resolve leadership issues in the states, especially in Ogun State where two factions have laid claim to the control of the party.

"While I was in the party as a member, I paid my dues to the fullest until I retired from partisan politics in 2015".
