Antonio Valencia believes Romelu Lukaku will excel at Manchester United

Romelu Lukaku has joined Manchester United from Everton whiles Arsenal has recruited Alexandre Lacazette from Olympique Lyon. He will have to fill Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shoes and endure a lot of scrutiny and pressure. An effective target at the tip of the spear might be just what Arsenal needs to get back into the title picture, or at least the Champions League. He will love to make runs in behind Premier League defenses and get a through ball from David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, and he'll have Sergio Agüero and Gabriel Jesus ready to score his crosses.

In the middle, Matic will sit the deepest and be the most defensive of the trio.

Morata has four league titles and two Champions League medals at the age of 24, but the Spain global was not first choice for either Madrid or Juventus.

MANCHESTER CITY face Brighton in their opening match of the Premier League campaign - here's our predicted line-up for the match. But it is this defence that looks the most undecided at the moment. City's third place finish was nothing to be sniffed at but it is doubtful a similar return would be considered enough this season after the club's major investment over the summer.

Man Utd in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over new deal
Lukaku isn't the only player being reunited Mourinho, who also convinced former club Chelsea to sell Nemanja Matic to United. Manchester United kick off the new Premier League season when they entertain West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The second centre-back and left-back position is still a battle between Lindelof and Phil Jones, and Matteo Darmin, Daley Blind and Marcus Rojo respectively. The 29-year-old striker has been the club's top scorer in five of the last six seasons and City look a much better side when he is able to stay fit.

That Walker has been one of the best full-backs in England for the last couple of seasons was never up for debate.

In his first press conference of the new season ahead of tomorrow's opener against Brighton, Pep Guardiola confirmed that there will be more transfers before the window shuts in 20 days.

As the Super cup final showed, Marouane Fellaini continues to be Mourinho's trusted man, and with good reason. The Premier League is much deeper, standard wise, than the Bundesliga and La Liga versions, where his Bayern Munich and Barcelona teams won League titles with consummate, in England, teams floating around mid and low reaches of the table have a nasty ability to bite and take points off the "big boys" when least expected - and that hurt City past year, dropping points at Middlesbrough, Southampton, Leicester amongst others. Only Chelsea and Spurs outscored City in the league last season....expect that to be reversed this season.

Though Jacob was stabilized, he never regained consciousness and put on life support in the neonatal intensive care unit. Doctors said baby Jacob suffered a catastrophic brain injury from lack of oxygen.

If United are to be serious title contenders, being more clinical at Old Trafford should be a priority for Mourinho, starting with the home match against the Hammers.

But this summer has been less than rosy for club, with the manager reportedly frustrated by the lack of top signings and the number of departures.

Lifting the Premier League trophy after our game against Blackburn in May 1993 was the best night of my career.

Since Ferguson's departure, United have finished seventh, fourth, fifth and sixth in the Premier League.
