Cavaliers trying to iron out issue with Kyrie Irving

Cavaliers trying to iron out issue with Kyrie Irving

Some of the greatest, most iconic stars in the history of the sport have switched teams overnight, to varying degrees of success.

"This isn't youthful ignorance", said Griffin. As the coaching staff looks to get young players more minutes, several veterans could be shopped. That's a little bit more courage than people give him credit for.

U.S. raids on Hashd al-Sha'bi on objective : Senior commander
The militia's Ahmed al-Maksousi says USA forces hit their base in Syria's Jamouna area with artillery early on Monday. The airstrike took place in Anbar province, close to Iraq's border with Syria.

The Cavaliers, of course, have exactly zero reason to trade Irving where he wants to go if they can't get a fair offer, since he doesn't have a no-trade clause. "But what that doesn't always allow is for a player like Kyrie to test his boundaries and see how good he can really be, and can I really be the front man of a team like that".

But this is interesting for a few reasons.

Country Music Icon Glen Campbell Dies At 81
The star - famed for his best selling hit Rhinestone Cowboy - died after a long battle with Alzheimer's. However, it was the next album that cracked Campbell worldwide as a country superstar.

Might there be a fifth team on Irving's list? Rather, it's the team's former general manager. James has already brought championships to Miami and Cleveland, but what about bringing a championship to a city for the first time, to a team that is experiencing the longest playoff drought in franchise history? Griffin said James casts a "very large shadow" on a team, and he thinks Irving, at 25 years old, simply wants to try to lead a team on his own.

Meanwhile, there's no real evidence the Celtics would improve if they swapped Thomas for Irving, at least in the short term. In fact, one member of the Cavs organization said Irving should not be unhappy because he took more shots that James last season, 1,420 to 1,344. Maybe. Maybe not. But at the end of the day, it is Irving's decision and he should do what he feels is best for him, even if it may not lead to him ever making the NBA Finals again. Irving's window also fits nicely with Gordon Hayward's - both are just now entering their prime, and both would still be very good (presumably) when the Celtics' youth movement starts to take off.

Netflix Announces New David Letterman Series
He's since stayed out of the spotlight - mostly - while growing a lengthy beard. "Children would be frightened". David Letterman is making his way back to the small screen - this time, on Netflix .

Right now, the Boston Celtics are looking like a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference.
