In tonight's main event, the United States Championship will be defended against both Chris Jericho and AJ Styles. AJ goes on and says the title represents the workhorse of WWE and that is AJ Styles. Y2J was back in the WWE claiming that it's him who owes the rematch. Upset at losing the United States Championship once again, Owens got on the microphone and demanded he have a rematch against Styles next week on Smackdown Live. Cena takes on the King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Namaura next week in a dream match, with the victor taking on Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. This time, he was able to defeat the Lone Wolf in a clean way. The babyface team picked up the win quite convincingly by taking Tamina out of the equation.

Jinder Mahal would have got John Cena as his SummerSlam opponent.
