Ryan Phillippe Hospitalized, Shares Photo of His Injury

Ryan Phillippe is in the hospital after injuring his right leg.

The actor performs all his own stunts on the television show "Shooter."

It isn't clear yet whether or not he actually injured himself on set, but he did admit that he pushes the limit while shooting sometimes. Actually, Phillippe broke his leg during a family outing on Sunday.

Phillippe wrote in the caption of his Instagram post Monday that he's "going to be ok".

The actor shared a snapshot from his hospital bed, giving a thumbs up with his leg bandaged and in a metal splint.

Phillippe posted the photo on Monday to "shoot down" rumors he severely injured himself on the set of his hit US series, Shooter.

"I'm 42, and I can't do hard-core action much longer", he said. "It's exhausting. I've got bruises", he continued.
