Official Blade Runner 2049 trailer teases out more plot details

Ever since the first Blade Runner, the big question about Ford's character has been whether or not he too is a replicant.

As promised last night, the second trailer for Blade Runner 2049 premiered this morning on Good Morning America. However, until then, audiences can analyze all the teasers and trailers for any new information, including this newest tease. Still, given just how much people adore the original film, the filmmaker has already made his peace with potentially failing.

The plot synopsis reads: "Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos".

It looks like the former LAPD cop who hunted down replicants all those years ago has been on the run himself. There's a cavalcade of riches this summer, with new offerings from both DC and Marvel, new (and in some cases, final) installments in long-running franchises, and a couple newcomers testing the waters for future sequels.
