Lanmi, a New Xiaomi's Sub Brand and Its Price, Camera, Battery

A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted in a poster image. Some alleged specifications of the Redmi 5 also have been spotted online on Weibo.

It is worth pointing out that the report says, the Xiaomi 5X will be unveiled on July 26, the date when Meizu is also expected to launch its Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. As reported earlier, Xiaomi is said to be have already started working on a smartphone which the company is expected to launch under the Lanmi brand.

The leak suggests the Mi 5X will come with a 5.5in display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM.

The picture hints a horizontal dual camera setup, similar to what we've seen on the OnePlus 5. The Xiaomi 5X will run the Android 7.1.1 Nougat layered with MIUI 9 on top, according to the report. The smartphone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. There is no information on whether there will be an option of expandable memory. Dubbed as Redmi 5, the smartphone is rumoured to feature a 5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
