KARACIH: PTI Naz Baloch joins PPP

Naz Baloch explains why she left PTI to join PPP.

Naz Baloch, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), has joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

The politician who vehemently advocated PTI on television screens said she does not want to smear the party where she spent seven years of her life.

Baloch said she worked hard for party on social media and dedicated herself for the party, but Khan totally neglected her.

She said whenever PTI chief came to Karachi for five or six hour long visit, the party workers was kept away from the party workers by the local leadership. "This is done by the Karachi party leadership, and I raised my voice about it prominently while I was with PTI", she added.

She said, "On a number of occasions, I requested him to reconsider his policy about Karachi, but he distanced himself from true workers", she said.

Regarding youth she said, "There is no youth representation, which was also promised during elections".

She claimed that only PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is representing youth at present. "I have always called his [Imran's] attention towards giving more time to Sindh especially Karachi", she said.

She advised the PTI chief Imran Khan to save whatever party had been left with him.

She said that the PTI had lost the recent by-election on the Sindh Assembly constituency in Karachi as virtually the game of "musical chairs" was being played among four people of PTI as every time one among these four leaders was chosen as the president of Karachi chapter of the party. "My services being a daughter of Karachi under the leadership of Imran Khan are not a secret to anyone", she said. "I even eulogized the services of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto during my time with the PTI", she said. "I will continue their mission with the incumbent party leadership", she said. "Our doors are open for everyone as Naz Baloch has rejoined her own family", she said.

Syed Murad Ali Shah welcomed Naz Baloch's decision of joining the PPP and added that this would strengthen the party.

When asked about the National Accountability Ordinance 1999 that was repealed by the Sindh Assembly, the chief minister said: "After the 18th Amendment, provincial assemblies are mandated to make laws".
