Apple iPhone 8 with OLED screen can stay strong

Amid reports of ongoing production struggles and difficulties acquiring smartphone parts, Apple has opted to take matters into its own hands to ensure that key components are manufactured in time for the iPhone 8's release. Considering how the iPhone 7 did not feature any drastic modifications since the iPhone 6, its edgeless OLED display - a first for any iPhone - definitely makes the iPhone 8 a must-have.

Economic Daily News says that Foxconn has secured the vast majority of orders for the upcoming OLED phone, which will feature nearly no bezel enabling Apple to pack in a 5.8-inch screen into the same physical size as the current 4.7-inch iPhone 7.

Obviously, if this report is true, then the bad news here from the perspective of both customers and Apple investors is that the launch and subsequent shipments-for-revenue for the upcoming iPhone models will be delayed.
