Bucks County District Attorney Releases Disturbing Details On Deaths Of 4 Men

Cosmo DiNardo admits to killing four men who vanished last week, according to his attorney.

On Wednesday, July 5, DiNardo agreed to sell Jimi Patrick four pounds of marijuana for $8,000, officials say.

Cosmo DiNardo, 20, confessed to killing Dean Finocchiaro, 19, Mark Sturgis, 22, Tom Meo, 21, and Jimi Tar Patrick, 19 and burying their bodies on his family's farm in Solebury Township in a deal with prosecutors, who promised to take the death penalty off the table. His cousin Sean Kratz is charged in the killing of the three men found in the same grave.

"I feel a lot of sadness", Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said while announcing the new developments. He said Patrick's body was described by DiNardo as "being on top of a mountain" - Patrick was buried.

"He confessed to his participation or commission of the murders of the four young men".

Kratz was charged with three counts of criminal homicide, nine counts of conspiracy, three counts of robbery, three counts of abuse of a corpse, possession of a weapon and possession of an instrument of crime with intent.

When his confession was released Thursday, DiNardo was already behind bars on 5 million dollars bail for trying to sell the vehicle of one of the men he admitted killing, 21 year old Thomas Meo of Plumstead.

Queen Letizia dared to bare some flesh during the evening in a solid navy column dress matched with glistening diamonds. Though with his retirement looming, this may unfortunately be the last time Prince Philip performs the ritual.

"Our work is not done", Weintraub said at the news conference. "I'd like to think that he wanted to help us get these boys home".

An admitted drug dealer with a history of mental illness said he killed four young men after he felt cheated or threatened during three transactions and then burned their bodies at his family's farm, a person with firsthand knowledge of his confession said.

Weintraub said he believed Dinardo and Kratz are the only ones involved in the killings, but said more information could change that position. There, he shot and killed Patrick with a.22-caliber rifle. DiNardo admitted that there are two different sites where the bodies are buried.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity on Thursday because he was not authorized to publicly discuss details of the case against 20-year-old Cosmo DiNardo.

Weintraub told a news conference on Friday that he did not know the motive behind the murders. There, Kratz allegedly shot him as he left a barn on the farm. Sturgis tried to run away, but DiNardo shot him several times as he tried to escape. DiNardo said he picked up Kratz and drove to Finocchiaro's home in Middletown, agreeing on the way there that they would rob the man. DiNardo said he handed Kratz a.357 handgun that belongs to his mother, according to the court documents.

Unlike neighboring estates, the DiNardo property has no name markers at the main entrance on Lower York Road.

At a barn at DiNardo's property, Kratz allegedly shot Finocchiaro in the head, DiNardo said.

But with Spielberg at the helm, it feels foolish to bet against this one, right? "I've cut most of my movies out", he said. Shortly before he died, he announced a final game, which involves solving increasingly esoteric pop culture quests.

The back-to-back arrests bought investigators time as they scoured the farm and other spots across the county for clues to the men's disappearance, Weintraub said.

Investigators found the bodies of Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis in a 12½-foot-deep grave Wednesday, according to the complaint.

Dinardo told investigators he then poured gasoline and lit the tank, according to the affidavit.

The next day, Kratz and DiNardo returned to the scene to bury the three men in 12 ½-foot deep holes.

Investigators said it appears some of the men knew each other.

According to an arrest affidavit, Dinardo told police he had agreed to sell marijuana to the men on three occasions at the property.

Police have recovered both weapons used in the murders, he said.
