Andy Serkis Reads Donald Trump's Tweets as Gollum

There's only one person who could make our 45th President's tweets sound more deranged than they already are, and his name is Gollum.

Serkis portrayed Gollum in "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy, so naturally Colbert asked him to read some of Donald Trump's tweets - as Gollum.

Stephen Colbert invited his "precious" Andy Serkis on The Late Show Tuesday night. That's no small task mind you, as it's hard not to read 45's tweets in his own staccato style of speech.

But Colbert also got Serkis to take the absurdity of Trump's Twitter presence to its natural end (who are we kidding, there's no natural end, it will never end). "Purposely incorrect stories and phony sources to meet their agenda of hate".

We are all been Colbert with his expression of pure glee: "I gotta say, they actually sound better that way".
