Saudi Arabia: A Dramatic Reordering Of Succession

Al Arabiya television reported that the promotion of the prince was approved by the kingdom's Allegiance Council, and that the king had called for a public pledging of loyalty to Mohammed bin Salman on Wednesday evening in Mecca.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday felicitated Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on his appointment as the Crown Prince of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is on the eve of changes, the young prince Mohamed bin Salman appointed crown prince. The new crown prince will retain the portfolio of defense minister, which he has held since the day his father assumed the throne in January 2015.

The new succession lineup and the sidelining of the former crown prince settles the competition between the two men.

McDonald's KSA, which stands for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a franchise operation which is owned by Riyadh International Catering Company. His biggest test will come as he tries to wean the kingdom off an oil economy.

Iran's state media on June 21 called the prince's designation as the next Saudi ruler a "soft coup".

Iran also reviles bin Salman for his leading role in the Saudi-led military intervention in Yemen, where Saudi Arabia is supporting its internationally-recognized government and Iran is backing the Shi'ite Houthi rebels. This is bad news for an already volatile region.

Another view: Senate health bill is a travesty
Trump didn't indicate what types of changes may be in store, but affirmed that he had described a US House-passed bill as "mean". More Democratic states, he said, could try single-payer systems while conservative states could bolster health savings accounts.

The global head of commodities strategy at RBC Ms. Croft said: "The rise of MBS will also likely mean even more hawkish foreign policy moves from Saudi Arabia and more intensified efforts to confront Iran,".

In the course of those conversations, the prince developed a good relationship with Kushner and Ivanka Trump as well as others in the Trump administration, according to the first official.

'And we support Amir Mohammed bin Salman, his son, to become Minister of Defence and Prime Minster and to be nominated as successor. "Together we will build on the strong, strategic foundation of counter-terrorism and security cooperation between our countries".

Juror: Two holdouts blocked conviction in Bill Cosby trial
