Trump attorney: President is not under investigation

On Friday, Trump tweeted that he was being "investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director!"

Sources say that President Donald Trump will "fight" the investigation into his campaign's possible collusion with Russian intelligence. "The president is not and has not been under investigation for obstruction". He said a Friday tweet from Trump was specifically directed at a story in The Washington Post about the expanding probe into Russia's election meddling.

"Number two, the actions the president took regarding the removal of James Comey from office after consultation with others in a deliberative process, is what presidents do, is not based on which an obstruction case could be based constitutionally".
