Queen Elizabeth II, 91, and her grandson, 34, had paid a visit together on Friday to see the survivors, victims, families and firefighter who were affected by the blaze. Meanwhile, the Government pursues an austerity policy inflicting hardship on most citizens while cutting taxes and being forced to borrow money from, and pay interest on loans to, the very section of society that owns the unoccupied properties that overlook the burnt-out shell of Grenfell Tower.

She said: "Secondly they need to be re-housed permanently and thirdly they need a long-term care package. people who'll always be there for them".

Grenfell Tower is located in a pocket of social deprivation within the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, one of Britain's wealthiest areas.

The Met investigation will look at how the block was built and refurbished in 2014 as well as fire safety measures and how the building was managed and maintained. He said 250 investigators were looking at all criminal offences that may have been committed.

The statement said: "Although the cause of the fire at Grenfell Tower will not be established for some time, Uttlesford District Council would like to reassure residents that safety is our top priority".

Democrats are pulling an all-night protest against the secret GOP healthcare bill
President Donald Trump wants to pass health care reform. "It's not unusual, especially for a big bill like this. McConnell is using closed-door meetings among Republicans to write the bill.

"Equally, there may be people who thankfully may have managed to escape the fire and for whatever reason have not let their family or friends or police know", police commander Stuart Cundy told reporters yesterday. Cundy noted that the number of people presumed dead may continue to fluctuate for various reasons.
