Trump Not Under Investigation for Obstruction, Lawyer Tells NBC

US President Donald Trump is reportedly so incensed at claims he is being investigated for obstructing justice in the Russian Federation election probe that he has started screaming at television sets in the White House.

The contradictory messages came after Trump first answered - and seemingly confirmed - reports that he is personally being investigated for obstruction of justice when he tweeted on Friday: "I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director!"

The conservative lawyer, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, is assisting Trump attorney Marc Kasowitz as Mueller investigates Russian interference in the 2016 elections and the potential obstruction of justice by the president in the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

A member of President Donald Trump's outside legal team says the president isn't under federal investigation. Sekulow said he "can't imagine" a scenario where the president would be under investigation and not know about it.

"As he helped introduce Trump here Friday on a podium bearing the presidential seal, Rubio spoke in a volume and cadence reminiscent of the speeches he delivered as a candidate for president", the Post reported.

Alexis Sanchez injury - Chile won't risk him tonight
Pizzi stated that it was unclear whether Alexis Sanchez would join the squad for the game against Cameroon in Moscow on Sunday. Forward Nani scored but a review by video assistants showed a Portugal player was offside in the build up to the goal.

Trump advisers and confidants describe the president as increasingly angry over the investigation, yelling at television sets in the White House carrying coverage and insisting he is the target of a conspiracy to discredit — and potentially end — his presidency.

The top Democrat on the House intelligence committee says the panel is looking forward to getting a response from the White House this week as to whether President Donald Trump has tapes of private conversations with fired FBI Director James Comey. The source said investigators have sought information from Richard Ledgett, who recently retired as deputy NSA director and, the source said, had written a memo documenting an attempt from Trump urging Rogers to tamp down on the FBI's Russian Federation investigation.

Sekulow said Trump took action based on their recommendation, and as a result, he is being investigated.

"The MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN agenda is doing very well despite the distraction of the Witch Hunt".

A source familiar with the Robert Mueller probe said on Thursday that investigators would have to gather a large amount of evidence before an interview with the president would be warranted. "And if President Trump were to fire Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, and then [get] special counsel Mueller fired, I believe Congress would begin impeachment proceedings".

High winds to make final round of US Open interesting
Harman, who had begun the day in a four-way tie for the lead, carded a five-under-par 67 which included six birdies and one bogey. Open at Erin Hills Golf Course just might be the one where one of them would break through for his first major championship.

A lawyer for Mr Trump legal team later asserted the President is not under investigation, despite the the tweet. He has already been subpoenaed by the House intelligence committee.

"Trump has a compulsion to counter attack and is very pugnacious", Gingrich said on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday.

A United States official who is familiar with the rough outlines of the probe and who spoke on condition of anonymity told Reuters on Thursday that Mueller was also examining whether Trump or others tried to interfere with the investigation.

With no limits to the investigation, and with the president's pique leading to ready rationales for expanding the probe, Mueller and his team will inevitably find something. Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and has expansive powers to probe any matters that develop from his initial investigation.

Hurricane forecasters keeping an eye on Gulf this weekend
The potential development of this system into a tropical storm isn't the only area to monitor in the tropics. The probability remains low that Houston will take a direct hit from a pending tropical system this week.
