Pakistan thrashes India to win Champions Trophy

They have not just defied logic, they have spat in logic's face, questioned the moral inclinations of its parents, kicked it in the shins, put it in a headlock, strangled it unconscious, then shoved it into the mud and set its pants on fire.

Earlier, Pakistan made 338 for four after losing the toss with opener Fakhar Zaman's 114 his maiden one-day worldwide hundred in just his fourth match at this level.

Remember how the cricket world thought the key period in the contest would be the middle overs in India's innings. The defending champions faltered big time when it mattered the most, while Pakistan, who ironically had started by losing to the Indians, emerged champions. Then one ball after Kohli, the world's leading ODI batsman, was dropped at slip off Amir, the bowler had him caught at point by Shadab Khan.

Vice President Mike Pence has also hired a private lawyer to represent his interests in the expanding probe. A Trump's transition official confirmed the lawyer's internal order, which was sent on Thursday.

It was Azhar's run out in the 23rd over which gave India their first break in the match.

Pakistan, entering the tournament ranked eighth out of the eight teams in the tournament, stunned arch-rivals India on Sunday to win the 2017 International Cricket Council Champions Trophy final by 180 runs at Kia Oval in London, England.

For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar shined with the ball.

The final flourish was provided by veteran Mohammed Hafeez (57 off 37) with help of four boundaries and three sixes.

Meanwhile, China's first large passenger jet, the C919, is competing with the A320 and 737 ranges. Thousands are expected at the biennial aviation and defense industry gathering this week.

Babar Azam scored 46 off 52 balls, and Imad Wasim was 25 not out off 21. R Ashwin finished with figures of 0-70 in his 10 overs.

In Champions Trophy history, 2013 has been the only edition in which the team batting first won the final. After that, it was hard for India to come back into the game.

But the umpires checked for a no-ball and replays showed Bumrah had over-stepped. Ironically, the mark they had to top was the 322 for three made by Sri Lanka in seven-wicket win over India at The Oval on June 8 - the lone group-stage loss suffered by Kohli's side.

The pair put on 128 together before Ali was run-out in pretty ridiculous circumstances after his fellow opener didn't run when there was clearly one available.

She says those arrested were booked at Ramsey County Jail on charges including being a pedestrian on the busy freeway. For their part, Yanez's lawyers praised the results and said there shouldn't have been charges in the first place.

Azhar also continued his fine form in the tournament, reaching his fifty off 61 balls before he was run out following a mix-up with his partner. Fakhar then drove left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja for six. He took his aim at off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the next over, smashing one over long-on, ran for three but it should have been a four through the covers and a late cut for four down to third man. Despite Hardik Pandya's 76 from 43 deliveries down the order, India could not rebuild after Amir's brilliance, and were beaten by 180 runs.
