Nation rages as Pak defeats arch-rival India in Champions Trophy


Security personnel were deployed today outside former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's house in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi, after India were outclassed by a resurgent Pakistan in the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy.

Denizens of the industrial city burnt the posters of Indian cricket team after team India lost the ICC Champions trophy final to Pakistan with a huge margin of 180 runs on late Sunday evening.

The last 10 overs netted 91 runs, giving Pakistan's bowlers - the team's strength - an impressive total to defend in a bid to win its first global ODI title in 25 years.
