Gingrich: Opponents Entangling Trump in 'Legalistic Nightmare'

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tussled with Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg on "The View", with the hosts repeatedly calling President Trump a liar. Scarborough posted several tweets of his own, condemning Gingrich for his blatant suggestion that Mueller was in some way involved in a shadowy conspiracy against President Trump. "I mean you go down the list, and we've been here before", Gingrich said. "I don't think that tweet helped him".

Gingrich on Friday said he has warned the president and Trump's aides of just how serious the current investigations are.

In recent weeks, the scandal has involved the recent firing of James Comey as head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who headed up testifying in front of Congress last week.

Saudi-Turkish ties strained over differing views on Qatar
Asked by Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency if the talks had found a solution, Mr Cavusoglu replied: "No. Another Al-Jazeera Arabic account described the move as part of an "organized campaign" targeting it.

'Technically, the President of the United States can not obstruct justice, ' Gingrich said on Friday at an event in Washington.

Gingrich reversed course from a month ago, when he tweeted praise of Mueller, calling him "a superb choice" to head the Russian Federation investigation. "And if President Trump were to fire Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, and then [get] special counsel Mueller fired, I believe Congress would begin impeachment proceedings". "This is an Indian hunting party", the former Speaker of House and failed presidential candidate said.

I'm not a lawyer, but neither is Newt Gingrich (he holds a European history), and if I can google some legal definitions, he should be able to as well. So now the newest one is, 'ah, but there was obstruction of justice over the collusion.' So, the fantasy that didn't occur is now being replaced with - well, technically, the president of the United States can not obstruct justice.

Wonder Woman's Record-Breaking Box Office Debut
The film, which topped the box office last week with the franchise's second-lowest debut , slipped to third with $21.6 million. According to the Hollywood Reporter , women accounted for 52% of its audience, in a genre that, on average, is 60% male.

"I think the President should get on the work that is so important that he do and at this point let this investigation run its course". Comey has said three times I didn't do anything with the Russians.

"No", Gingrich said. "I think this whole game of recusal now is - this is a nightmare". Nobody on Capitol Hill has any proof that I did anything with the Russians.

Gingrich has been one of Trump's most vocal supporters. "And now I get an independent counsel who is going to mess up at least the next year at a minimum.' And who, by the way, you'll notice is expanding his charge", Gingrich said.

Jared Kushner's business dealings being investigated, Washington Post reports
The move was confirmed by a transition official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss post-election decisions. Ruddy, who had been at the White House on Monday, told PBS that Trump is considering terminating the special counsel.
