Dem: Congress will begin impeachment if Trump fires Mueller, Rosenstein

Trump adviser Newt Gingrich said on ABC's "This Week" that the tweet Friday "didn't help him".

In a comment Friday on his Twitter account, Trump said, "I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! What is he talking about?"

Jay Sekulow, a lawyer who is part of a team hired by Trump to deal with allegations of collusion by his campaign with Moscow, appeared to contradict Trump's statement on Twitter on Friday that he was being investigated for firing his Federal Bureau of Investigation director last month. "The tweet from the president was in response to the five anonymous sources that were purportedly leaking information to The Washington Post about a potential investigation of the president".

"He's not being investigated", Sekulow exclaimed, adding that he wanted to be "crystal clear" that they are "not aware of any investigation".

"Well, I wish it were that simple, but with all due respect, the president said "I am being investigated" in a tweet" a baffled Tapper responds.

To say that Painter is biased against President Trump would be an understatement.

5% interest subsidy on crop loan
Some states, including Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, have said they will write-off loans of small and marginal farmers. Government has approved two percent interest subsidy on farm loans and additional three percent for timely repayments.

"It has become clear that President Trump believes that he has the power to fire anyone in government he chooses and for any reason, including special counsel Robert Mueller", Schiff said in a statement.

The US media reported earlier this week that the president also wants to fire Muller but was finding it hard to do so because he has the reputation of being an honest and impartial investigator.

The Washington Post reported this week that, in addition to the Russian Federation probe, the special counsel is now determining whether President Donald Trump attempted to obstruct justice.

On Sunday, Trump again referred to the probe, but dismissed it.

Trump's inability to restrain himself under pressure is nothing new. "He can not in a Twitter statement include all of that in there, but the Washington Post statement came out that morning".

It is alleged that among those sent interview requests regarding possible connections between Trump and Russian Federation are Daniel Coats, the Director of National Intelligence, Mike Rogers, Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and Richard Ledgett, Rogers' former Deputy Director, who recently resigned.

"Witch hunt' is how Trump characterises the probe into Russia's election interference and possible ties to his campaign associates".

Trump at first attributed Comey's firing to a recommendation by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for his handling of an investigation past year into the use of a private email server by Trump's defeated challenger, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Sekulow, "No, he's not being investigated". "I don't believe it's going to happen".

I don't think so.

Despite American intelligence and law enforcement's continued assertion that Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 election, Trump argues that it is a "hoax".
