Durant vindicates decision to join Warriors

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (35) shoots against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the first half of Game 5 of basketball's NBA Finals in Oakland, Calif., Monday, June 12, 2017.

But in the immediate aftermath of the Cavaliers' loss to the Warriors, LeBron-who became the first player in National Basketball Association history to average a triple-double during the Finals this year-didn't spend too much time talking about the future.

The two embraced in 2012 and Durant - the 2017 NBA Finals MVP in his first season with the Warriors - found James and congratulated him on a great series.

Led by LeBron James' game-high 41 points, the Cavaliers hung within 108-102 with 8:29 to play on a 3-pointer by Kyle Korver.

Jeff Sessions's testimony raises more questions than it answers
Although Sessions backed Trump's campaign, he was also one of the first administration officials to fly into turbulence. Sessions is now the only Trump official on the record, under oath, countering Comey's testimony last week under oath.

Curry zipped up and down the court ending the game with 34 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. "So I've also realized that as far as becoming more of a team player, since my first year I've grown so much and I'm proud of myself in that area as well, but I've got a long ways to go". "I have no reason to look back at what I could have done or what I shouldn't have done or what I could have done better for the team".

"They call us a super team but there has been a lot of super teams that haven't work".

Even after coughing up a 3-1 lead in last year's championship round, the Warriors are already a dynasty thanks to the addition of Kevin Durant - a free agency coup that might not have happened if not for that Finals defeat. The Warriors aren't going anywhere and the league will need to improve itself to challenge them. "You can talk about whatever happens on the outside, but inside those lines, I come to bring it every day", Durant said Monday night. "I thought when we got healthy, we got our mind right, we stayed the course, and once we got to the Playoffs, we really performed".

Green had sat out this very game a year ago, suspended because of flagrant foul point accumulation after he swiped at James' groin in Game 4.

We are praying for swift recoveries for those who were injured and we are thankful for the bravery and quick action of U.S. Five wounded people, including the suspect, were taken to area hospitals for treatment, the police said .

Durant entered the NBA Finals as an eight-time All-Star, an All-Star Game MVP and an NBA MVP.

Wanda Durant had her son at just 21. While James hasn't seen a dropoff in play yet, it's growing clear that he needs more help to get over the hump and beat the Warriors.

Durant, who joined from the Oklahoma City Thunder last summer, was key to the Warriors' victory and their 16-1 postseason run - the best in the league's history. "I'm trying to build a second part of my life as a man living in a different part of the country, just trying to do different things", he told The Washington Post earlier this year.
